No, I’m not talking about the song released by The Archies in 1969!  I’m talking about the sweet, delicious kind we use in our Italian Ice.  We were lucky to contract sugar prices early in 2022 that locked in savings for everyone for 2022.  However, in 2023, Sugar prices have gone up over 30%.  This represents a significant increase in our costs of production.  Add to this the shipping costs on something that is as heavy as it is sweet, and it’s a recipe for a price change.  Inflation is still here.  It’s still real.  I hope everyone understands that our quality remains the same and that these cost increases are an unfortunate economic reality for all of us.
